Integrated or free-standing? Built in or individual?
When building your kitchen, or even buying different appliances, there’s many decisions you have to keep in mind. As the market continues to evolve there are changes in the way people approach buying kitchen items, do I buy a fridge-freezer combo? What about washing machines? The old model of washing machine and dryer is changing as more consumers consider the power of an integrated washing machine as a good choice.
There’s more, sinks can be a problem too. Taps are often a problem, do I combine them or buy a single faucet tap? And the American style mulchers? They may not be popular apart from bars and restaurants, but it may make recycling a lot easier! As for cookers, would you prefer a free-standing cooker, or a built in hob. There’s so much to consider, and as kitchens get smaller there’s only so much to pack in!
Built in washer dryers are one of the best ways to save money, and save space. If you have a small kitchen they are ideal to working on two problems almost at once! In terms of efficiency they may not be the best, and if you’re looking to keep costs down it may be better to hang wet clothes on the line, but as technology improves so will washer-dryers. Be economical, design your kitchen with people I mind, as well as price. As we all know, too many chefs can spoil the broth!
